Blissful Mornings - A Sacred Day Offering
**For the Earth, Our First Mother**
By the Circle Gatherers — Bliss Chains Authors
We have come with palms open,
not to take, but to remember—
that before we built stories,
she sang us into being.
The moss knew our names before we spoke them,
the stones remembered our silence,
and the wind,
she cradled our breath
long before the wailing of birth.
Today, we walk barefoot,
offering back what we borrowed—
a prayer woven into seed,
a promise tucked in compost,
a whisper carved into bark.
To the rivers,
we say: we are learning to flow again.
To the mountains,
we say: we are ready to hold stillness.
To the animals,
we say: we are listening.
For tomorrow,
a dog will follow a trail of forgotten things,
and an arrow will point to a truth
buried beneath hurried footsteps.
But today—
we lay down all weapons,
and plant our hearts
into the arms of Earth,
our first Mother.
